The best soup dumplings. They make them fresh and cook to order. Enough said. Everything was good and we might have ordered the entire menu or close to it. Check them out if you are craving for some soup dumplings!!!

This is the best (what I've called "soup dumplings") I've ever had! They are so fresh, you can see it as they are served to you. And of course you can see the dumplings being made behind the glass. Worth the wait to get in. Have tried it in Power Plant mall and can't wait to try it in the States also. The Bochi was also extremely fresh. I've now been ruined because every other will never be as good :)

Great trading food along with the prices make this a must when stopping by the Powerplant Mall. We have this in Bellevue, WA in the United States and the quality holds up. Will be back for sure.

I've been wanting to try this place but unfortunately we don't have one in Vancouver. In my recent visit to the Philippines I'm so lucky to see Din Tai Fung in Powerplant Mall. It was dinner time and the line-up was long so I decided to order takeout. I ordered truffle fried rice, original xiao long bao, deep fried shrimp with salted egg and shrimp with pineapple and mayo. I found the portions to be on the smaller side and a bit pricey but they're worth it. The truffle fried rice was so tasty and not oily at all. The shrimps were fresh, plump and juicy. The xiao long bao was very flavourful compared to others I've tried. The 5 star rating is for food quality and taste. Too bad I only had takeout and wasn't able to experience full service. In my opinion this place is the best for XLB. It would be worth the drive to Seattle or Bellevue from Vancouver.

Very close franchise to Taiwan original... unlike USA variants which is expensive and just not right. Texture of the skin of the XLB has to be thin and supple with a soupy ingredient. Exemplifying the yin of the skin and the soup and the yang of the meaty interior. Shu Mai is also soupy which is consistent with Taipei original which I adore. Long long lines here... so be prepared to wait for 1 hour in lunch weekend crowds.

DTF in Makati still translates the XLB the same as the original! The XLB's are just as delicious and maintain the consistency you'd expect. Also had the Won Ton with spicy sauce, which was equally delicious... Service was great too! Highly recommend if you have a dumpling craving in Manila!
